Cedric is easily flustered by compliments. He’ll go red as a lobster if a lady properly compliments him on something and he believes they’re being sincere.Cedric’s gotten pretty “hard” over the years and doesn’t cry often. Usually being reminded of his awful past can set him off though...or reminding him he’s still kind of stuck in mediocrity and probably won’t get out....He enjoys steamy romance novels. There were just some things Cedric would stop questioning during his little outing. How he got himself seated with somebody he assumed to be around his own age for once was one of them and he’d take it as a blessing - any break from teenagers and children was more than welcome in his books...even if he had to actually be sociable for once. Besides, it was a woman. If he even attempted to think about whatever chain of events lead up to this he’d easily give himself a migraine. “So you said you were a pirate?  I actually know of a young girl back home who’d be more than excited to hear that somebody such as yourself exists.”

He’d nod just once as he spoke with an inquiring yet creaky tone. Small talk. Not his forte.
