he took a deep breath in and made sure his hood was high enough on his head to hide his ears, but not enough to hide his face. Approaching the man he cleared his throat, “Excuse me, sir? Can you tell me the name of this place? I’ve been traveling for a while and I want to make sure I actually went the right way.”
Rem knocked on Thalia's door once. No, it was more like a punch. He was not in a good mood. He waited, a crumpled letter in his hand.
Thalia ripped the door open, looking irritated. "What the hell do you want?" she snapped. She didn't have the patience for him right then. Her cat peeked out from under the bed, eyeing Rem.
Letter: Let me start off by stating the eternal truth, the only truth I dare believe any more. Thalia, I love you. That is all that matters. And you love me back, I believe you when you say that you do. For my love is a promise, a promise that I will always believe you. Now, to the point. I will be brief. Thalia, I am not myself. I am no longer Rem. You think you know me, but you do not. I will not be happy without you, but you will be unhappy with me. I need to leave you. Goodbye. Forget me.
Thalia reads the letter, hand going to her mouth.
She falls to her knees and tears begin to fall, her body trembling as she reads the letter.
"No...Avacyn no I knew he wasn't himself but...I can't...No..."
[Text]: When you get home, remember this. It wasn’t me.
[text]: Rem, what did you do???

Rem discovers Thalia sleeping in his bed, lays down beside her, careful not to wake her up, and smiles as he gently strokes her hair, soon falling asleep as well.
