so why do you creepily base your online life around a fictional character? You take their name, nickname, they're in your URL. Kind of creepy.

Firstly, I don't actually base my entire life around a fictional character. Most of my friends online know me by my real name and I use Rocky as an alias because I'm not comfortable sharing personal information with total strangers. Not to mention, I'm not the first person to use an alias online either, LOTS of people on Tumblr use character names. Furthermore, I've liked a lot of things Rocky did BEFORE I even joined this fandom. So no, I don't find it creepy. I just think of it as an interesting coincidence.
