lace: what is something in your life completely different from last year?

noah’s life is suddenly on a different track this year than it was last year. he spent freshman year telling himself that he was done with hockey, done with that dream, and that he was never going to play this year. but now he has a brittle heart and a determination burning bright in his eyes as he’s taking the ncaa scene by storm. 

adam’s life is more or less the same. he likes to blend into a routine that he’s used to, and that means 48 hour shifts at the station followed by 72 hour breaks where he sleeps and takes lyla on runs. nothing is too different. maybe there are some feelings that are new while older ones are starting to fade.
