Hello, during the 2 season we were shown Anne's and Marcy's friendship, yet despite being told, that we will learn the toxic element of their friendship, I never really understood what was it. In Anne's and Sasha's friendship, it was Sasha's bossiness and Anne not standing up for herself. But with Marcy's and Anne's...idk, Anne babying and being overprotective over Marcy, while Marcy is ignoring the problems in all their friendships??? Like, is that the toxic element or am I missing something?

Yeah, exactly. Marcy relied too much on her friends to help her. Anne and Sasha were very overprotective of Marcy, they sometimes acted like they were her caretaker.

Marcy is very codependent of her friends as well. Some people have pointed out that her parents aren't...good. That means she relies on her friends for support. She can be as controling as Sasha except she does this without realizing it.
