misty for the ask game?

- My NOTP for them

Do I even have a Misty NOTP...? I dunno. I hate those weird old men hitting on her in OS but i doubt that counts.

- My BROTP for them

Pokeshipping. I described this in my answer for Ash, but they're besties to me. Her #1 confidant, outside maybe Daisy.

- My OTP for them

Waterwarriorshipping! For the longest time I was stuck on an endgame ship for Misty, but Lana and her were gay from frame 1! It's perfect.

- My second choice pairing for them

God, I dunno. I'm short on Misty ships.

- My fluffy pairing for them

- My angsty pairing for them

Novelshipping. I saw someone suggest shipping her with Paul and it works way too well. I have an unfinished fic about them where they temporarily date while they're both in Unova, between DP and BW. It's not that angsty, but they do challenge each other as people and ultimately go their separate ways amicably.

- My favorite poly ship for them

Triangle ship with her, Lana, and Ash. They like to joke that Ash gets visitation rights in their prenup. Lana's two squeezes. Here's a fic!

I'm gonna put the weirdest one in a separate RB out of consideration. It's not anything sus like half the men who talk to Misty in Season 1, but it's also not everyone's cup of tea so you can click that if you want.

Ahhh a great one! <3

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (Truly a classic that got me into pirates and also probably kickstarted my friends-to-lovers obsession with Will and Elizabeth)

Pride (If you are queer and haven't watched this move go watch it NOW! It's about a group of gays and lesbians in London teaming up with a group of striking miners in Wales against the backdrop of the early AIDS Crisis and Thatcher's reign. It's truly such a fantastic movie I love it so much. So much great queer solidarity and moments of great joy through hardship)

Belle (One of my favorite period pieces of all time involving the court case that took down slavery in the UK and involves a gorgeous love story between the high court judge's biracial niece that he raised as his daughter and a fervent abolitionist who is the son of a vicar)

Revenge of the Sith (Had to put a Star War on here! It's funny, because this IS my fave SW movie, but I can only watch it every once in a while because it destroys me so thoroughly)

Tick Tick Boom (The Lin Manuel Miranda movie adaptation of Jonathan Larson's musical Tick Tick Boom and I have no notes. It is a perfect film to me and is a great portrait of a struggling artist who cares so so so much about making beautiful things. Also against the backdrop of the AIDS Crisis)
