I'm honestly going to laugh so hard when the remake makes either tife/cloud canon or aeris/cloud so ambiguous your "evidence" would be scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

it's rude??? how is just simply commenting on a clerith post rude? do you know what the real world is really about? do you know anything about rudeness? come on, there are much worse things and you made a big deal about one person just commenting on the post. the person didn't even say anything offending about the clerith ship yikes. the commenter was just expressing their excitement about FF7 remake as a whole. man please just relax. why are you so defensive and on guard. just rELAX :/

So what do you do with all those ip addresses? Do you hang them on your wall and form elaborate conspiracy theories around them? Or do you just get off on people knowing you are nuts?

Remember that scene where Cloud goes crazy and punches Aeris? Yeah I just remembered how messed up that is. That makes me dislike Cloud more. Don't you think Aeris deserves better than someone who punches women?? Don't excuse his breakdown for his action because frankly I can't look at Cloud the same.

Good for you. If you’re going to hold it against Cloud that he had a mental break down and couldn’t physically stop himself, then have fun. But Aerith doesn’t blame him and that’s all that matters. 

You must not know the plot to FFVII. Cloud was having a MENTAL BREAK DOWN after being manipulated by Sephroth/Jenova, it was COMPLETELY out of his will. That’s why you see the real Cloud crying as his physical-self is hitting Aerith. The real Cloud doesn’t want that, he loves her more than anything and would never hit her, and that’s why Sephiroth caused it. Because he knew it would be the thing that weighed heaviest on Cloud’s heart. 

I already pointed out how Cloud cries and immediately regrets what he did (even though it’s not his fault) and tells Aerith that he can’t help but apologize to her. 

But, I think it’s very telling that Cloud can't remember what happened;

Cloud: "Everything is white... What did I do? I don't remember anything...My memory... since when...? If everything's a dream, don't wake me." 

but he manages to remember hurting Aerith... that's how heavy that ordeal was on Cloud's heart. He didn't remember giving the black materia to Sephiroth, but he remembered harming Aerith...

Barret: "Yeah, godammit! It's 'cuz of you that Sephiroth got the Black Materia in the first place. It's your damn fault!" (Cloud lets go of his head) Cloud: "My fault?"

See how Cloud can’t remember handing the Black materia to Sephiroth? Compare that to how he couldn’t forget about harming Aerith...

Which, TO ME, says the guilt from hurting Aerith weighed heavier on Cloud's heart than handing over the black materia... and that in itself says SO much about how Cloud feels for her.  And it says a great deal about Aerith, too;

Aerith's so understanding and accepting towards Cloud and everything he's dealing with. It's so beautiful that Cloud had someone like that in his life. It makes me think back to how Cloud asks Aerith who he is (in the databook Dismantled) even though she's dead already. He trusts her the most and even though they only just met a few months before, he's asking her who he is because he feels that she knows him the best... even with Tifa around. I always loved how instead of allowing Cloud to endanger himself and everyone around him, that Aerith decided to leave by herself in order for Cloud to take care of himself first. She knew that something was wrong with him and all she wanted was to make sure that he took care of himself while she took care of the world... and when she couldn't leave him because she wanted to be by his side forever... it was the idea of ultimately saving Cloud's life that urged her to sacrifice herself, not just for the planet, but for Cloud--so that he could live, too. And what did Cloud do... instead of focusing on himself, he rushes after Aerith because he knows she's endanger. No matter how scared he is of himself, the urge to rescue Aerith and make sure she's alright was far more important to him than his fears and doubts.It's like the story 'The Gift of the Magi'... the man in that sold his pocket-watch to buy his wife a comb for her long hair, but she cut and sold all her hair to buy him a chain for his pocket-watch. Selflessness is the true indication of soul-mates, and Cloud and Aerith are the only people in the game who experience this.

tl;dr; Cloud is the one person in Aerith’s life (other than her mothers) that has always believed in her and has always loved her and thought she was amazing and never thought she was weird when he discovered her cetra abilities. He sacrificed and risked his own life for her time and time again. 

She deserves Cloud just as much as Cloud deserves Aerith.

The Dismantled book isn't real, I don't believe. All the translations are ironically posted on Cloud x Aerith forums which makes me even more suspicious. Can't find it anywhere, not even in Japanese. Explain this, actually...

What's so wrong with still wishing that Zack and Aerith had the chance to wholeheartedly blossom? I hold onto Zerith because he was her first love, regardless of her apparently fever for Cloud. You don't need to bash people, you know? Let people like what they like without constantly trying to throw stuff in their faces.

Wait--when did I bash anyone? I’ve been fangirling about the remake, I haven’t said anything about either cloti or zerith until you asked, man.
