ask-santa-999:
"What the-?!" The white haired man’s shocked expression mirrored the one that his…double wore. He blinked, rubbing his eyes to make sure that the person in front of him was real-not that it made a difference. Clearly the man was no illusion, that was for certain.
Questions flooded his mind almost immediately. How was this even possible…?! Was there a mirror in front of him? No that was ridiculous. And impossible. A Doppelganger perhaps? No that was even more impossible. Such things didn’t even exist…at least he hoped not.
Aoi,watched warily as the other man observed him. He briefly wondered what the man was thinking-perhaps that seeing someone who looked exactly like him was a sign of danger…? The white-haired man didn’t know.
"You…who are you?" The words left his mouth before Aoi could stop them. It was an unnecessary question to ask, he already knew the answer anyways. But…this whole situation was…insane. How could the person standing in front of him be himself…?!
Aoi could merely stand there, azure hues gazing up and down, taking in every single detail of his double's appearance, seeing nothing that could have differentiated them in any ways may it be hair, clothes or physique. Despite the sheer absurdity of the idea, it was a certainty that this man was as real as he himself was and this perhaps may have been the first time in his life he had stood so startled, incapable of hiding it either... Not that his interlocutor seemed to handle the situation better.
The white-haired man had attempted to make sense of it and while there was but one possibility he could envision, it seemed extremely unlikely nonetheless. He had no doubts that the man standing in front of him was himself... No matter how ridiculous it may have seemed. However, what was the probability of any of them jumping timelines to meet? Non-existent.. or was it?
Even though, Aoi was a paranoid one, judging by the equally dumbfounded look on his double's face, the thought that he may be a threat didn't cross his mind. However, before he could ponder more, a voice pulled him out of his thoughts.
"You really need to ask?" Though the query might not have been the brightest one, the white-haired man didn't regard his interlocutor in a condescending way as he might have uttered the exact same words given a couple more seconds, a natural reaction to such a predicament. "Aoi Kurashiki... Same as you right? Now, what's happening here, don't ask me!"
