How many followers do you have? If you dont mind me asking!

ah, sorry a while ago i decided to stop with follower milestones, and revealing my count, because it’s just… not worth it. my actions & words should define me- not a number. think about twitter and instagram.

what makes them so corrupt? follower counts. why? they symbolize power, and social standing, if you will. as i’m sure you’re aware, all ig fandoms care about are “l4l” & “f4f”. they’re not on instagram solely to celebrate whatever fandom they’re in- posting (often stolen) content is simply a means to an end, that end being pOpUlArItY (which means nothing if you begged your way to the top. you’re not popular, you’re just desperate). the same goes for twt- it’s all about the follower count & the follower/following gap. *sigh* those with 1k+ followers have the worst egos i’ve ever seen. they won’t bring themselves to talk to small twts, it’s pathetic. shove your ego up your ass, please and thank you.

that’s why tumblr is superior. there’s no numbers that we can use to judge each other. we get to judge each other based off our blog, our content. that is, until we post about how many followers we have. that shatters the magic of tumblr, because it 1) makes others with less feel unworthy and 2) makes those with more feel as if they’re superior, and no one likes a big ego.

i know why everyone posts their follower count (everyone is an exaggeration). to assert their dominance. to try to get compliments out of people. to be loved and praised. yes, it feels nice to be congratulated. sure, at 100 & 1k (or 10k), i get that. go for it. celebrate that shit. but after that? it starts becoming vain- an excuse to show off how amazing you are and the easiest way to get your friends to compliment you. yes, peer approval is great. i’m guilty to this too; i believe i celebrated 1500 & 2000, possibly more, a mistake in my part. but i’ve realized how selfish it is, and have since stopped.

this is kinda off topic but might as well get it out while i’m here- i never ask for followers, for a reason. i want people to choose to follow me, whether it’s because i reblog a lot of new content or my own content- it doesn’t matter. i just want my followers to be genuine. authentic. real. the quality of your followers are more important than the quantity. i know that there are some with high follower counts, only bc their blog used to be a different fandom, or their blog is really old. do 4k followers that don’t stan stray kids matter? of course not.

just… go on tumblr daily, reblog content & post your own, and you’ll experience growth. make some friends, too. but put supporting skz first, and your ego second.

Hey I’m new with stray kids and don’t know much about them yet. Could you explain a bit about their personalities? If it’s not too much of a bother. Also sorry if I made some mistakes My english isn’t perfect💖

this is longer than anticipated...

felix. somewhat shy, yet wild around his friends. you’ll see that he’s pretty quiet in interviews because i don’t think he’s 100% confident with his korean as he’s been learning it for the past year. he’s great at korean though ahhh. he likes physical touch, and he smiles a lot- bright little smiles that fill you with joy.

chan. sporadic, energetic, and compassionate. he’s often jumping, laughing, or hugging someone. he can be serious, but only when he’s doing his leader duties. he’s definitely one of the fake maknaes… he makes a lot of goofy faces and it’s adorable. i know that he has big dreams for the future, he’s certainly a dreamer. he definitely deserves to be the leader, he helps connect the group together.

woojin. the oldest. it seems as if he’s shy, but i don’t think he is. i think he just wants the other members to get screentime, at times, so he doesn’t talk. when he does start talking, you’ll see how he’s actually pretty confident. he’s very cute, and gets excited easily by food, especially chicken.

changbin. probably a fake maknae. he loves physical touch, and snuggles with various members. he loves doing aeygo, and can be veryyy energetic- but if you start babying him, he’ll probably get mad. recently he’s been very adorable… you’ll see as you watch content how he continuously chooses cute over cool… he’s truly special. i think he likes to seem cool on stage, but cute off stage.

hyunjin. he’s relatively shy, and a bit sensitive. he can get a bit wild around stray kids, much like felix, but he’s a bit more reserved. he’s fairly religious according to fansign conversations, and is very sweet. reminds me of a sleepy puppy who just wants your love, he’s really nice.

i.n (aka jeongin). maknae. he’s very cute, and often wears bright colors. he’s constantly smiling, i believe he said that he always smiles because he thinks he looks mean when he doesn’t. he’s very bright and seems to be very optimistic. he really likes plushies- actually they all do. is he really my age? he somehow seems younger.

han (aka jisung). he deeply cares about his members, during the elimination days he was the first to comfort them- he held minho’s hand when he had to rap for the first time. he’s another smiler- he’s very positive and helps keep the atmosphere light. he’s not shy around his members, as you can see in the sk-talkers, and can get pretty loud. he can make quite a few jokes, as he loves laughing.

seungmin. he’s affectionate and passive- and seems fairly reserved, similar to hyunjin. you won’t see him talk that much on screen, but that might be because he’s deprived of screentime. most underappreciated member? that’s seungmin. but regardless- he’s like that stereotypical boy sitting in the library, reading books out of enjoyment. and of course, he’d help you if you can’t reach a book. that’s how i see him, at least. he is extremely positive, and just… happy.

lee know (aka minho). he’s the sassy one, the yoongi of stray kids. although he’s more like yoongi and hoseok’s personalities combined. he’s very vibrant, yet is very calm and collected. he may start laughing randomly though… i swear he knows how pretty he is and loves terrorizing us. he really loves his members, despite him joking about eliminating them if there isn’t enough food.
