Ryan was laying on his bed reading when he heard the knock. He set down the magazine and stood up, making his way over to the door to open it. He opened the door a crack, not hearing Dakota prior, to see who it was. He smiled instantly and opened his door wider. "Hey, Dakota. Long time no see, man."

Cam sat idly on the riverbed, watching as a few fish swam past. She was getting bored, so she left her place and swam upwards. She looked up at the sky through the water... it looked clear today. Poking her head out of the water, she looked around.

...Someone was at the riverbank.

The tenta quickly ducked back under the water and headed for the stranger. Who were they? Why were they here?

She stayed under the water, tentacles camouflaged. She wouldn't reveal herself yet.

Watching the battles was a pass time hardly called upon these days- they grew dull quickly without the ability to join in, and the gore wasn't something that sat well with Aime's stomach. However, today was a day he decided to sit through a few rounds, if only to tide him over before rereading another book below. 

It didn't take long to notice the girl from some days before that he assisted. For some reason he was surprised to see her back, running around easily enough. 

It made him happy. And perhaps a little careless, as he peeked up from the edge of the water without camouflaging first.
