Shadow flinched at being hugged. It was still a somewhat newish concept to him. Yet he couldn’t help but return the gesture. “Thanks. Kind of nice to be back.” He smiled back. Once he was let go he went over to pick the ribbons up before they forgot about them.
“Also to answer your how question shortly, lets just say I did some pretty stupid things again that got me back here. Nothing that’s like breaking seals bad.” He said as he was tying each one up.
The blue ribbon went on to the hilt of the shadowy sword he’d summoned briefly. The black was tied onto his pinky. Lastly he braided the orange, green and yellow onto his hair. Once done he pulled five ribbons out and handed them to Link. They were orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. “I wanted to leave these at the castle so that it got to ya. But, looks like it’d be easier now that we’ve bumped into each other.” He nervously laughed.
Link accepted his shadow’s embrace and listened to his explanations on how he was back in Hyrule. The hero was relieved when Shadow specifically told him that there wasn’t any kind of ritual or seal breaking in his somewhat still mysterious return; but he was happy he wouldn’t have to fight Vaati or Ganon again as the seal up until now proved to be strong.
Then Shadow pulled some ribbons out and handed them to Link; this surprised the knight more since he never thought Shadoe would be the kind of person to participate in this kinds of events. but he was just proven wrong and took the ribbons with a smile. “Thank you very much, friend.” Green said as he tied the blue one to the hilt of his sword, the violet one on his pinky and the went onto a braid, signaling to the shadow he also felt the same.
“You free right now? Because I feel the both of us have some catching up to do.” Link said as he sat down by the statue.
