Emma stopped at nothing to save her son and on her quest to find out why he suddenly passed out, the truth Henry had been telling her all along got through. She believed and by saving Henry from his fate, Emma broke the very curse she refused to believe for months. Getting used to fairytale characters like her parents being real was one thing, but finding herself in the very land she was born in was another.

As the purple smoke faded and her eyes settled to the new land surrounding, She found herself alone in a land she had never been in before. “Oh, great..” She sighed and began screaming the name of her son in hopes to be reunited with him. She ran through the forest and it felt the forest went on for miles. "Henry! Henry! Where are--” As she ran through the forest shouting Henry’s name, she collided into a stranger and fell to the ground. “I’m sorry. Are you o-- N--Neal?”

Pan emerged from the shadows of the lush jungle. “You disappoint me. I thought I taught you better,” he said sharply as the lost boys surrounded the man before him. Baelfire had spent a long time with Pan on the island when he was a boy. It was clear that he remembered much of what the piper taught him but Bae’s cleverness ended at coating the shaft of an arrow with squid ink.

“Never break in somewhere unless you know the way out” Pan reminded the former lost boy firmly.

Emma never imagined she would be facing a divorce with her high school sweetheart. They were inseparable growing up, inseparable in their time of petty crime, and inseparable in the years following their marriage. It was only a matter of time for her happiness to be taken from her as the two continued to fight.

She tried to change, tried to make an effort, but it still didn’t seem to do much good. Emma eventually moved out with Henry before finding a place of her own. It took almost a year of getting over Neal that her friendship with Jefferson seemed to grow. For the first time since she left Neal months prior, Emma was finally happy until a letter came in from Neal. Official papers for divorce were opened and it left Emma enraged. Leaving her job for the day, she stormed to Neal’s place of work, and without hesitating, Emma threw the papers on his desk.

“You tell me one year ago that you want out only to have your lawyer send me divorce papers in the mail just a few hours after you told me you wanted to spend time with our son?!” Emma shouted, “Do you have the worst luck with timing or are you doing this on purpose just to get under my skin?

A quest to rid this world of magic seemed like a great idea, which lead them to finding the Home Office and come up with a plan, along with falling in love shortly after. Tamara faked her engagement with Neal and longed for the day she could finally end things and pursue what her heart really desired the most.

“You again?” Tamara was sitting in their room in Granny’s Bed and Breakfast when she saw Neal walk in. Her attitude definitely changed from someone who loved another to that of someone who loathed them. “I can’t believe how foolish you’re being and not realizing that I want nothing to do with you.”

Sorting through the newest additions of the library had taken up the majority of Belle's day. After everything had been put into place, she began her usual trek through the giant room in search of books that had been left out after their use. Belle picked up a couple of stray books and turned to put them where they belonged when she caught a glimpse of a student wandering into the library. Normally, she'd leave them be but he seemed like he was looking for something or rather someone.

She paused to place a book into it's correct space before making her way over to him. "You look like you're on a mission, anything I can help with?" She stopped a few feet away from him and shifted the pile of books in her arms to rest them against her side.

Despite her opinions on being expected to be married by other members of her social circle and a women’s place being far more than just in the home, Emma did enjoy attending balls every once in awhile. She enjoyed the dancing, being around her dearest friend, Tink, and seeing everyone else happy. When the ball had just started, Emma was getting fresh air outside when she had run into a young man she had never seen before. Despite apologizing and inquiring on whether or not he was alright, she got the impression that the man was very proud and it rubbed her the wrong. She was hoping to never see him again throughout the evening and yet that wasn’t the case. Emma approached him when he was alone and was quite amused. “I’m surprised you stayed at the ball, sir. When I accidentally ran into you, I got the impression you didn’t want to be anywhere around here.” She more sure to enunciate her words to show that bumping into him was clearly an accident and not done on purpose.

When Emma stole a stolen car and met Neal, she never expected for them to stay together in the end. Maybe taking part in one heist after dodging that cop was the only thing she planned on with Neal, and Emma had every intention of leaving him after that to be alone. However, after being abandoned by her parents as a baby, Emma found herself liking his company. She stayed by his side and played the act of a loving couple only to steal something along the way, and then that one night in a closed amusement park happened. How he spoke to her, understood her, talked about how he found ways to get over his traumatic childhood made her realize she loved him. Love. How could a teenager one year away from turning eighteen love someone so deeply, but be afraid of commitment given her own traumatic past in the process? The fear of rejection made Emma keep her feelings to herself. “So… what is the plan for today today?” Emma asked, looking over at him only to look away again.
