Squittix came across polari, seeing that polari has a decently intimidating stature, he must have a good paying job "Hey there. I have a question for ya. A large person like yerself must have a pretty nice job. What job might that be?"Squittix asked.

Hearing a voice speak up, Polari looked around. He instinctively lowered his gaze to see a Mouser inquiring about him. What’s more, the larger Luma was caught off-guard by the little one’s statement; ‘A large person like himself’? “Whatever could that mean?”, he pondered for a brief moment. 

Realizing that he didn’t want to know the answer, he decided not to pull the pin on that grenade. Polari gave a small moment to consider his answer…

After a brief pause, he looked solemnly into the little fellow’s eyes and answered, “I work as a guardian for a younger one under my care, as well as an advisor for one above me in status. Although…”

Polari’s tone shifted as he continued, giving the slightest air of annoyance, though it would be nigh undetectable for most listeners to pick up, “It can be considered impolite to request information from someone without a proper introduction of one’s self…”

He gave a cold smile as he continued, his narrowed eyes looking into the Mouser to observe every inch of his character as he awaited a reply.

“Well awhile back i had a regular Job by most people’s standards. But now I live as a theif. It’s not that bad. Even though it gets kinda dangerous with some folks. But that’s alright. I honestly have some pretty nice things.”

So you guys work fur bowser, right? Does it pay some good coin?

“Well it depends on the job. Guards, cleaning crew, and other jobs that are common don’t get paid much. Librarians, cooks, builders, and others that require a form of skill get average or more depending on the task. Ones that get paid more are the ones that work close to Bowser, like nannies, office workers, and generally people that he likes. And that’s most of what the wages differ in the castle. If you mean as in the outside section like the outposts or literal part of his army, then you may want to ask someone who works in those fields. Hope this helps”
