Barnaby! Just the pawn I was searching for. I visited the guild not long ago, and overheard talk of a Barnabeast. I am not sure who or what they were referring to, thus I was hoping you would know more about this creature.

Barnabeast?  Do you mean the pawn's cat?  Describe this beast and whether it is dangerous or friendly.  We will get a group of pawns out to investigate...

Did you not have a pet wandering the guild? Aye, 'twas a... a feline! How is the poor thing?

Funny you should ask.  She's grown into a large, muscular feline who acts as if she owns the city.  I personally am concerned that she has become such a good hunter she will make several species of birds extinct in this city...especially since recently it appears she is pregnant.  

It is up to our Seneschal to see whether or not her kittens inherit her wings and horns, of course.  I try very hard to not think about it.

Thank you for the message, Ser Godsbane.  I apologize for my silence--it's just been a very stressful year and I had to cut back on fun Internet in order to try to keep up with responsibilities.   (for Barnaby and the mun:)

As for severed tongues, the Riftmaster has been crueler than usual lately.  I've met four pawns who could not speak because their tongues had been removed.  I suspect they screamed from pain too much for his pleasure.

Your silence has likewise been worrysome--I enjoy your blog very much.

You're mistaken, Barnaby, I am not the Arisen. However, I do need assistance regarding the barbaric creature... Would you be able to tell the Arisen to avoid using me as a looting tool the next time you see them? It's quite irritating, after a while, and I do not appreciate it when they don't give me a warning.

Aha!  I did not see your face, or lack of one.  

Apologies for the mistaken assumption.  I will tell the arisen what you ask, but whether the Arisen will listen is not something under my control.  Especially after he sees how magnificently shiny you are---must kill

Uh...a fellow pawn said I had somehow gotten out of control when viewing you, good Godsbane.  Is it possible that something on your end hypnotizes Arisen and pawns alike, making us want to use you for everything?
