if you are taking that graphic asks, may i get an answer to 20? (Advices to beginners?)
I am definitely still taking more graphic maker asks! (here btw)I already answered 20 once but I am very happy to give some more, different, advice! :D (HERE is that answer)
Advice you would give to beginner graphic makers: As helpful as tutorials are, especially in the VERY beginning, I feel like you don’t fully get to know PS until you play around with it. In the beginning I rarely ever used tutorials, tbh I still never use tutorials (sometimes I look up tips and stuff but never actually use full tuts). You’re only gonna get familiar with it if you use it for long periods of time. After you’ve learned how to make a gif, really the only other things you need to learn is how to color (which you can figure out yourself by playing w/settings or downloading some psds) and other basics such as sharpening and cropping (for tumblr the sizes are 268px width for 2 side by side gifs, 540px for big gifs, 177px for 3 gifs side by side). Other than those few basic things I would say the #1 thing is to always use HQ/HD videos because your gifs will most likely look great regardless. :)
