♞: for solara, tarrok and musnae

Something my muse wants to do.

Solara: Find a cure to the whole bugskin thing. It's not that she doesn't like getting covered in chitin plating and eating people...oh wait, scratch that, she DOESN'T LIKE THAT. Can you imagine the pain of having that stuff grow on you every month? Yeah. She wants a cure, she wants to be..well as close to normal as she can be.

Tarrok: Shiiiit, man. Uh...Bang all the shotas? TBH I don't think Tarrok has this over-arcing goal? Perhaps to become a better person..? There was this plot once about teaching him to be a better person but that died, so I dunno. Still, it would be nice if he weren't such a creep.

Musnae: Musnae...Dear sweet Musnae. Forever wanting to atone for his sins against his friends. Wanting to make them believe he is truly sorry despite the fact that every time he says he won't disappear he does.

Something my muse admires

Solara: Well it should come as no surprise that Solara admires and idolises Nostus, that one's a given. But she also admires birds, and butterflies. She admires winged creatures, because while she is like them, she'll never have the mindless freedom or the lack of prejudice that they do. She wishes she could be a bird and that way she'd be able to get away from the people who call her a mutant, and a freak.

Amthea: Sielus. She admires the fact that despite everything, despite the fact that she almost killed him, that he survived, and that he's not afraid of her, but that he's willing to fight to protect himself from her. She admires his ability to fight past the niggling fear and stand tall and move past the horrific incidents of the past.

Well, it was another night and you know what that meant. Time to go on down the mountain an into the city to rack in the cash with your sweet dance styles.  Sure some might not call it the most dignified thing for a highblood like you to do but what did they know huh? you loved dancing and people loved watching you so thats all that should matter. You'd already gotten set up at your usual spot, boombox, tip box and mat all set out for you to get warmed up with a little display of the show that was to come.

Day 4

Xenova's mound of organic materials had begun taking a shape. Sort of. She had cut herself on a piece of bone, and some of her blood had gotten mixed in with the mess. Some hours later, it was pulsing a little, and coming together in a more solid way. The individual bits were meshing together with the others, forming one solid mass. It would be fascinating to watch, if not for them smell and gross sounds it was making. Xenova watched at the moment, unsure what to make of it. She was sure by now that someone knew something was going on down here.

The Third Night

Xenova had been gathering organic material all day. Stealing plant and animal matter from around the lab, or hunting down small creatures she could sneak into the place. The matter was all gathered up in a pile, like a disgusting and rotting dragon hoard. She really wasn't sure what she was doing with it. Just that gathering it satisfied some strange urge in the back of her skull.

There needs to be more...

Obeying the strange desire, she set off to hunt for more organic material. She had not slept in three days, and showed no signs of slowing down.
