*There was a delicate knock on Persephone's door, and when she opened it, all she could see was a bright green eye looking up at her before she was tackled to the ground* @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

Persephone looked toward the door once the knock came. She put her cigarette out in her ash tray as she stood up to answer the door. As soon as the door was opened, she let out a yelp as she was suddenly tackled, hitting the back of her head against the hard carpet of her hotel room. She grimaced a bit as she looked up, finally realizing her attacker, now baring her teeth. “So... you actually came...”

*Inside the abandoned building, there was a small girl with white hair and only one eye that looked around curiously. She approached Zetsuko and spoke in a soft, gentle voice* Hello. Are you okay? @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

it takes a moment before he registers that she’s talking to him, and a moment more for the confusion to subside into a look of sympathy. she looks out of place here. “ah, i’m fine, it’s not bleeding anymore. are you okay?”

*In the darkest corner of the room, a single green eye seemed to glow in the shadows as it stared directly at Matsuda like a wild animal stalking its prey* @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

Matsuda froze, struck with memories of Kamukura. But he had red eyes... Was this another experiment? This was his fault, wasn’t it? Why couldn’t he remember how this happened? (he’s forgetting, just like his mother, this is his fault it has to be,)

He blinked, realizing where he’d seen that eye before. That was the kid, wasn’t it? Jisu? It wasn’t him who experimented on her, and that thought brought him a bit of relief.

“Hey.“ His voice shook a little, and he hoped she didn’t notice.

“What are you doing? Want some food? I found it in the main room.“

*The door to Shadow's dorm room was suddenly thrown open, and a very concerned Jisuku ran in* Alex! What's wrong!? @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

*As soon as she came through the door, the lizard immediately lunged at Jisu, now pinning her to the ground and hissing. However, his look soon shifted to surprise and his grip on her loosened.*

*Jisuku was running down the hallway when she stopped dead in her tracks and started up at Shadow, her expression going completely hollow and empty* Oh... It's you. @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

*He simply froze in place for a bit. Standing before him was the girl he basically almost murdered. His heart was pounding, and his hands began trembling.*

Seven-forty-five! *Jisuku ran up to the tree that the bat girl was dangling from, jumping up and down with childlike glee* @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

Huh? Wait, is that...?

*She squinted her eyes trying to get a good look. Once she got a glance, her eyes lit up in surprise and she flew down and picked Jisu up into a big hug.*

Twenty-four!! Oh my God, it is you! I missed you so so much!!

*Shadow feels a tug on his sleeve* Hi. I missed you. Where's Xander? @asktheultimatescienceexperiment

Oh, Jisu! Hey there, sweetheart! 

*He gently patted her head with a soft smile on his face. Remembering back what he discussed with Tsumugi, he knew he needed to act casually in order to lead the little experiment to her ultimate demise.* 

Xander isn’t quite available at the moment. Is there something you needed?

wait so you guys KNEW she was alive and you DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING???

Duh. If we said something right away, we’d run the risk of Shadow or Tsumugi finding out. That’s why we kept hush hush about it. 

Ikusaba is correct. But she is alive and under our secured protection and care. So if Shirogane happens to come around, we’re well prepared. 

*Sure enough, Jisuku was in a bed that was further away from Shadow’s. It was clear that she was alive, yet she had several wounds on her body and was hooked up to a few machines to carefully monitor her health.* 

Her condition is rather critical, but we will make sure to do everything we can to assure that she makes a full recovery.
