Kurama asked: "Why do I smell... more smoke than usual?"
" ... no reason. "
Hiei very quickly stepped sideways, in front of the window curtain that was now, perhaps, a bit shorter than it should have been.

Kurama asked: "Why do I smell... more smoke than usual?"
" ... no reason. "
Hiei very quickly stepped sideways, in front of the window curtain that was now, perhaps, a bit shorter than it should have been.
UNPROMPTED - always accepting
Kurama asked: "I've always found it slightly ironic, you know. You go around wielding all manner of fire and flames, and yet when a single human taunts you not to say a certain word... 'Hot' is what does you in, and renders you unable to defend yourself. Or perhaps it was merely a cruel joke of fate~?"
" It's not any funnier, just because you're the one laughing, fox. "
Window Prompt - accepting
Kurama asked: “window escape”
Send “window escape” for my muse to catch your muse in the middle of leaving through a window.
Hiei paused for a moment, not really sure if he was seeing what he was seeing. It wasn't as if he'd never seen Kurama leave through a window before, it's just... that was kind of his thing. And Kurama so rarely put himself in a situation where such escapes were necessary.
The wily fox was annoyingly good at convincing the humans around him that absolutely nothing suspicious had occurred while they weren't paying attention. So this?
" ... should I be concerned? "

14. cause a power outage
Hiei had heard Kurama yelling about something, but he hadn't noticed the thick black cable overhead until it was too late, and his katana had already sliced clean through the thing.
He'd immediately known he'd done something wrong when he felt the quick jolt of energy rushing up his arms through the blade, as it made contact. But the moment was brief, and he'd been too focused on controlling the fire after that to really think about it.
The cut end of the black line had tried to spark a blaze in the brush below, as it fell, and snuffing it out had been a surprisingly difficult task. The fires themselves weren't the problem, of course, but the wire wouldn't stop igniting new ones until it had finally settled in the dirt, far enough away from any flammable material to be of any further concern.
Pleased with himself for containing the problem, Hiei glanced back at Kurama only to note that the fox still seemed overly worried. He was also looking out over the park where they had been sparring, in the opposite direction. It did seem... darker than usual, in that direction. A lot darker than usual, for a human city.
Kurama had told him, once, what those ugly black lines were, that crossed over the city. And something about... human lightning. Hiei remembered the jolt that had hit him when he'd sliced through the cable.
Well... it wasn't his fault that the humans had such a stupid system.
" ... what. "

"Okay I give up! You win! I'm lost, okay?"
Yusuke threw his arms up in exasperation as he turned to Kurama.
"Please tell me you know the way outta here."

Kurama asked:💀or🍭
💀: for our muses to be volunteer scare actors 🍭: for our muses to pass out candy to trick-or-treaters 💀: for my muse to play a trick on yours
" Okay, fine. But I'm only giving them the candy if they don't get scared. "
Really, he would rather skip opening the door altogether and scarf the candy down himself, but Kurama had insisted that if he was going to stay, he had to at least help answer the door. But, he reasoned, if the game was trick or treat, then scaring them first with a 'trick' was fair game, right?
So he ditched his shirt and bandana, grabbed the candy bowl, and yanked the door open in full jagan form.
" Trick or tr- Whoa, dude! Cool costume! "
@askurama cont. from here
Yusuke gave Kurama a grin before raising one hand to rub at his chin, looking up into the distance in the pretense of thinking about the question.
"Mmm, with you around? Maybe. I've seen what you can do."

" It's no business of mine what you do with your time, fox. "
