The hall of the minotaur
Josuke awoke in the morning to a gentle tug at the end of his index finger. He bats at it thinking it is but a bug causing a disruption so early in the morning. There is a second tug How strange....I'm sure I hit the bug.. is there another one? Josuke didn't want to get out of warm comfy bed for a mere bug. A third tug, this one was more violent than the other two. Josuke heart brokenly slide out from in between his mattress. He turned on the light on his night stand and left his blanket a mess in between his mattress.
He gave himself a big sleepy yawn as he came to his senses. He looked down at his finger expecting to see a bug bite, but instead there was a slender red string. Huh....? What sort of odd prank could this be? He shrugged and used his two hands to break the delicate looking string. "hey..ouch!" The task wasn't as easy as he had hoped it would be. The small meager string was sharp enough to have punctured his skin. A small bit of blood began to ooze out from the palm of both of his hands. "There's no way that wasn't just a fluke" He said out loud to no one in particular. He gave it another go and only caused his hands to accumulate more cuts. Okay...my hands aren't working so I just need to cut it with something. easy enough.
He rummaged through his nightstand desk, rattling old assignments and projects, until he reached his pair of scissors. He took them and began to cut the string. "Alright that should be easy enough!" And then he looked down to see the scissors had yet to break the string. He put more and more pressure onto the handles of the scissors, causing the wounds on his hand to bleed some more, until they broke apart. "N-no...way......." he commented in disbelief.
"I suppose I have no other option." The sleepy young student decided to get to the bottom of this unbelievable prank. He walked out of his dorm room with a sleepy look plastered across his face and began to follow the path of the string. Ten minutes had passed and he had yet to find a turn in this long hallway at all. He rubbed his eyes and looked back. Nope. No other twists and turns in this lonely hallway. He decided he was just a little confused from how tired he was; he had just pulled an all nighter the day before, so he decided to backtrack his steps. There's no reason that would be a problem for him he had this handy dandy string with him.
He walked and walked down back exactly the same way he came and was unable to find any trace of his dorm room. "no way....You're telling me I got lost at this hour?" Josuke was so sleepy from suddenly being jolted awake he leaned against a wall and fell asleep, forgetting about the mysterious string and his goal while he drifted off into the realm of dreams.... but then he was suddenly rudely shook awake by someone. "heeey come on leave me be a little longer..." he muttered with his eyes shut
