My brother recently graduated from college, so of course I was required to take his grad pics. As much fuss as he gives me for not just “getting it over with,” he really takes great pictures. I’m super proud of how the middle horizontal image turned out. Absolutely one of my favorites.
Before my recent move to another city, my beautiful coworker Codye was saying she wanted someone to just take a cellphone picture for her senior pictures. As a photographer who has been on a senior picture role, I was so against that. I kept telling her that she deserves to have more than a quick photo for all the hard work she’s put in to school. I told her I would take her pictures, and she finally gave in. Nothing was really planned other than time and date.
Codye was so much fun to work with, and so very sweet. I love how her pictures turned out. And I’m so happy to have met a friend for life.
My boyfriend’s nephew, Xavier, saw me taking pictures and got curious. Luckily he’s still young enough that he didn’t mind me telling him to stare at the camera. I actually took these after I realized I hadn’t shot any photos in almost a year.

This beautiful lady is Jasmine, a friend I met through an old friend my first year of college. We may not be the closest of friends, but I’m glad she chose me to capture her graduation pictures!

Mallory is an old friend from high school, and she has always been such a joy to shoot with. She makes it so easy. Things are comfortable, we have fun, and I always get great pictures.

Since I graduated in December of 2014, I haven’t done a whole lot with my photography. I already had two part-time jobs after graduation, which soon turned into one full-time job. I felt like I needed a break from constant editing and brainstorming, so I only offered my services to friends for senior pictures.
Jordan (This Side Up Images) took my senior pictures in exchange for me taking hers. For her shoot I used her Nikon and light setup, as well as a tilt-shift lens to create some of my favorite images. I’m so thankful for her shoot because I got the chance to experience some new equipment (I’m a die-hard Canon fan).
Her photoshoot sent me off on tangent of senior pictures of which I’m still continuing a year later.
