After speaking with Tyler, Alastair felt even worse. The guy was actually okay; he didn’t seem to have an ulterior motive, he didn’t seem to be using Aspen for anything. He seemed to genuinely like her.
Which was what Aspen had been saying all along.
So he had brought Aspen a large bouquet of sunflowers with yellow roses and lots of greenery. However, the only issue was that she didn’t want to see Alastair. How was he supposed to drop them off?
An idea had formed in his head, and walked Dexter and Daisy over to Aspen’s. He’d tied up the flowers to Dexter’s harness, knocked on the door and sped down the driveway, grateful that Dexter stayed where he was. Alastair stood at the bottom of the driveway on the path so that Aspen technically didn’t see him, but he could see her and her reaction. The flowers had a note on that read, love you always - Daddy x
