Someone special lent me this book which perfectly describes my passion for all things maths and teaching. My greatest influence is undoubtedly my dad, a passionate physics teacher who was always a little too eager to teach a little 8 year old new algorithms and formulas. He definitely sparked something in me that didn't show until high school: a serious love and passion for mathematics. So I guess I want to do the same. I want to ignite a little spark inside everyone and abolish this "maths phobia" we tend to have. Maths is more than a subject that is only ever studied in schools and never used in real life.
