sorry guys i got busy with late night work but im free enough now to finish this for ya! the first part didn’t get a lot of attention so i’m hoping some more dialogue might intrigue more of you. reblogs appreciated!!
okay so nitw au kris is actually interesting. they take on the role of bea while maintaining the mae traits that asriel didn’t get.
they have a similar dynamic with asriel that bea and mae have — that of resentment over having very different experiences around things, especially college.
but they also have the dissociative symptoms that mae has and by extension, they experienced ‘the incident’. essentially they were abandoned by asriel when they needed him most when he decided to leave for college. they were left alone in a town of people who feared them over what happened, with a close family friend that they looked up to gone missing, and their family falling apart (toriel and asgore stay divorced even in this au unfortunately) in azzy’s absence. asriel didn’t get to experience any of this and is shocked to come back to who his sibling has become. they used to be very close, but now they are so detached from each other that their relationship is strained beyond recognition. they keep to themself and opt to find a job so that they stay out of the house, trying to avoid personal turmoils as much as possible.
