Arsène Lupin III VS. Assane Diop: my maternal Grandma and I got into Netflix’s Lupin live action series a year ago, starring an African French protagonist named Assane Diop who happened to be a fan of the original Lupin since Assane’s father once got him into the original Lupin books, which was what led Assane Diop to take on the Lupin name himself of course, but of course after having watched two seasons of that show with my maternal grandmother, I still can’t believe that that Netflix show never seemed to reference or acknowledge the existence of Lupin’s titular French Japanese grandson from that one popular Anime franchise with the most famous catchy theme song that’s been carried on throughout Lupin the 3rd’s anime franchise since that theme song made it’s debut in 2nd Lupin the 3rd anime series long ago, especially when the Lupin III Anime Franchise is about 51 years old in Anime years and about 55 in original Manga years as of 10-12-2022 of this description post of course, while I enjoy the Netflix Lupin series referencing the original Lupin novels and it’s novel series creator: Maurice Leblanc himself, I honestly wish and hope that Lupin the third will get referenced in that Netflix Lupin’s 3rd season too, since he’s just as popular and famous as his grandfather was too of course, I also went on the Lupin III fandom website to lookup my favorite suit color for Lupin III and I chose the TV Specials variant Red Jacket suit Lupin III wore and colored that in there for him while I gave the top hat and cane he tried on in the CG movie: Lupin III the first in that style too just to go with his look of course, yeah I apologize for making Assane look so small with such a small head, I was really trying to capture the Rise-Turtles art style to go with there looks while drawing them in that Raphael vs Casey Jones comic cover inspired background to go with that style anyway too really. Wow, Lupin teve mais uma temporada incrível e a atuação de Omar Sy novamente foi fabulosa 👏👏 Inspirado pelas aventuras de Arsène Lupin, o ladrão gentil Assane Diop quer se vingar de uma família rica por uma injustiça cometida contra o pai dele. Que venha a 3ª temporada (já confirmada), que pode adaptar "Arsène Lupin Vs Sherlock Holmes". #CuriosidadeNerd No livro "Sherlock Holmes Chega Tarde Demais", uma das primeiras histórias do ladrão de casaca, o jovem Lupin quem leva a melhor sobre o maior detetive de todos os tempos. Isso aconteceu em em 1906, quando os personagens se encontraram pela primeira vez, o que deixou o escritor Arthur Conan Doyle (autor de Holmes) extremamente irritado. O escritor britânico levou o caso à justiça e saiu vencedor, obrigando Leblanc a mudar o nome do personagem. Só que autor francês não se intimidou e o detetive foi rebatizado como "Herlock Sholmes", isso mesmo que você leu, e o detetive voltou a dar as caras em outros três livros do ladrão: Arsène Lupin contra Herlock Sholmes, A Agulha Oca e 813. O autor francês era realmente abusado, mas sempre se declarou fã de Doyle, tanto que quando o britânico morreu, Leblanc escreveu uma homenagem ao seu rival.
