I think I might need a replacement dad

The one who happened to spawn whatever the fuck kind of mess I am seems to be a bit faulty

He always claims that he knows what's best for me and what's best for me is apparently to base my entire life on me being an autistic person who can't live a life without support *rolls my eyes* I'm fucking tired of fearing him, tired of him forcing himself into my life, just tired of listening to him act like I'm not a proper person with my own opinions. And I'm tired of being sent into emotional breakdowns because he always acts so entitled and like my mom controls my whole life and he's just trying to cut me free. My first Descendants fic

Of course it's about the Hooks

Summary (plz read): the reader is Harry Hooks oldest sibling.(Y/N), stands up to her abusive father.

(Y/N)S P.O.V

Dad's drunk and shouting at Harriet again. I can't stand the bastard. Harry and CJ are beside me quivering. No, he didn't. He just slashed Harriet with his sword. Now shes weeping in the corner. No one makes my tough sister cry. That's it. Game on.

I drew my sword from my scabbard and went in for the fight. I was less skilled, but only by a fraction. Dad hasn't sword fought in years and he's an alcoholic, so I have an upper hand, really. CJ and harry tried to hold me back, but failed miserably. I went in for the element of surprise and dad wasn't expecting it. He clumbsily drew his sword and we fought.

I could see Harry an CJ trying to sink into the corner with Harriet, all terrified for me and them selves. Usually my siblings are extremely brave, being pirates, but they've never seen me at such a rage. They were more confused than anything.

I didn't really know what I was doing, I mean dad's the most famous and feared villian on he Isle, and it's only Harry, CJ, Harriet and me who fence with each other and it's all risk free, really.

But I got up and fought. After a minute of basic sword clashing, I slipped up. Dad got a good swing at me but I ducked and regained my balance and we went back to sword clashing. After two minutes, I overpowered Dad and he lost his balance, tripped and I finally had him. My sword was at his throat and there was fear in his eyes.

I smirked and stated "if you dare touch any of us again, I will have your head." I hesitated while thinking, "if you want to live drop the hook. And I'll consider it." I was shocked the bastard actually dropped it but I kept my cool and I told Harry, "Harry, take the hook" Harry ran to take it then went back to CJ and Harriet.

I continued, "give me your ship and everything else you own including money, and leave, never talk to us or look for us or even at us again. You'll never harm us or anyone else again, oh and drop the sword then leave and never return."

I don't know why, but he did as I ordered and dropped his weapon and I lowered mine. He made for the door, looked me in the eye and said "I've never been prouder of a child of mine" and then he left. I watched as he ran away, we would never see him again.

I turned to my siblings and we were all shocked. I mean I overpowered the most feared and powerful villian on the Isle. CJ looked thankful. Harry looked shocked. And Harriet was unreadable.

CJ ran forward to hug me, then Harry, then Harriet. I said gently, "come on guys let's go to the ship, I'll patch you up, Harriet, and we'll deal with his all in the morning."

We went out and walked to the ship using our tunnel and it was quiet. But then CJ asked " is it safe? To be on the ship? I mean, wha-" I interrupted "shh CJ it'll be ok, I think we scared him off and I sleep with my sword at my side, so does everyone else here. we'll be fine. " I consoled CJ. We were quiet once more.

Harry then for some reason apologized and said, "(Y/N), I'm sorry we didn't help-" I consoled once more, "Harry, it's alright, I wasn't expecting yous to help, I wouldn't expect you to make that risk, not that you all aren't brave and amazing pirates, but that was my fight."I just smiled.

We got to the ship and I patched up Harriet. It was strange, you know, usually Harriet was always talking, but now she was silent.

OUTSIDER P.O.V.

The Hook children sat by the fire in the captains quarters and talked, not about what just happened, but about feelings, how schools going, what they wanna do in life and it was strange, you know, it's not a popular conversation topic on the Isle, but Harriet listened, CJ and Harry talked and (Y/N) did both. Phrases like "please" "thank you" and "I love you" were said, a first for some of the kids. But you could feel they meant it with all their hearts.

"(Y/N), what do we do with the hook?" asked harry. "You keep it, your a huge flirt so saying I'll hook ye will have so many interpretations it'll be hilarious, but apart from that, your a great pirate and you'll use it well. I love you Harry" (Y/N) replied. Harry was speechless.

The kids fell asleep late with swords at hand, but no danger was near. They never saw their father again, and we're thankful of it.

The kids were the most feared and adored people on the Isle. (Y/N) had the biggest crew on the Isle and she was well respected. Her first mates were her siblings. Also this girl named Uma and Harry and her got together. She was a great pirate and she was really cool.

The Hook kids were then raised by (Y/N) Hook and taught kindness, toughness, ruthlessness and only hurt those who deserve it.

The kids live long lives and all was well.
