I know that Rose vented a bit about that AssholeFromMD™ a while back but I had a nightmare about it last night so now I gotta vent about it too.
One of the people he creeped on was a Socii named Toshiro. Now Toshiro had come here a lot and very frequently back when we first started hanging out with the guy. Him, Ichigo and Renji even drove halfway to meet up with him in TN to hang out and meet.
Now Toshiro has a media lookalike, as I'm sure many would recognize. The media, however, is missing a lot about Toshiro on a personal level and he has a lot of unique interests and likes that are never explicitly stated in said media. So then HOW AND WHY would Asshole suddenly say he had a Toshiro and he TOO would be obsessed with Goats and figure skates? Now the skating I can kind of let pass because he's an icy guy and I could see how many would or could become interested in the sport. But the GOATS?! You have gotta be kidding me.
I can't say too much more on this subject because his Toshiro came around after we high tailed it out of a living situation with him, but it still pisses me off. He would do that kind of stuff to ton of people and then shove it off like they came like that of their own accord and that the fact they share such EERIELY similar and highly specific likes/interests/relationships was "normal".
Like the time that he first met Bennet and Albedo, two Socii who are in a long-term committed relationship. Obviously those two have media counterparts as well, but they don't even INTERACT in it, much less have a explicitly stated romantic relationship. So HOW AND WHY would he then have an Albedo (like days after Socius Albedo first used the vessels) who is ALSO in a long term committed relationship?
It's just too coincidental and uncanny. Especially when we approached him about this highly specific stuff and he said "well they're different people. Ours had cereal for breakfast and yours didn't, they're on two completely different life paths". Like SURE buddy. They can have the exact same, super highly specific interests and relationships RIGHT AFTER you met ours with those highly specific things. I call Sis
i know this all sounds super stupid and like we're just complaining about harmless nothings but it was BAD how much and how often he would do things like that. Copy relationships, traumas, interests, etc because he ASSUMED that Socii are "just like the media counterpart" so our information should be "free game" to base his people off of. And that was NOT cool. Socii and our personal information are NOT here to be someone else's inspiration for headmates or whatever was happening there. It was like he was trying to combine Socii reality with his own by "taking" Socii and having them use his body. Like he was low-key expecting us to just "buy" it. Either that, or like I said he saw us as Free Information to pick and choose from as he pleased.
