WHAT EXCUSE of a wizard ; is all otto can think of as he looks at new york , rain falling on him as the lights of the city lit up the view . he would never get tired of it , even if he lived his whole life there — well , not THIS version of it .
whatever was meant to happen , it didn’t . and once again , the scientist was found stuck in a city that was not his , a universe he did not belong to . however , now nobody had memory of what had occurred weeks earlier . weeks , yes — it had been weeks since him and the other villains first arriving , and for what the man could see : he was the only one that remained . why ? he wishes he knew .
so lost in his thoughts , enough that he doesn’t turn right away at the noise behind him . however his arms do : their lights red , meaning the ai was there , so suspicious of everyone ( otto would know ) . they turn white once the man finally turns around , unbothered .
a woman faces him from the open door , and his eyebrow rises . right , he was on top of some LABORATORY . she might have heard him land , but does it really matter ? his stance changes , even as the rain continues to fall hard on him .
