Theres this one blog i keep seeing on my dash that is always claiming “This character is canonically trans and gay” and as someone who has consumed literally every amount of information on said character- they are not. It frustrates me, because they havent gone into a relationship with anyone and they have canonically not been confirmed to be any sort of lgbtq character. Theyre also canonically white with platinum (or pale) blonde hair, yet they draw them brown and it angers me to no end, help
It’s going to be difficult for me to answer this without being a little of a jerk, so I apologize in advance if I come off very aggressive.
The best advice I personally can give is just ignore them. What they believe about fictional characters cannot and should not bother you this much. I realize it’s a hard skill to learn, but it’s so much better not to care if someone makes claims of person who doesn’t exist being gay or trans or (heaven forbid) brown. It’s pretend. How someone chooses to enjoy media doesn’t change anything about that media.
If you think someone is enjoying something wrong, ignore them and let them be wrong.

What do you think about competitive games? Competition as a concept in general?
