psa: please do not tell your LGBTQ+ child that they are going through a phase after coming out to you. This will extremely hurt your child’s self-esteem and will resort to trust issues in the future. Even if they soon figure out that they are cis and/or straight, you should still support your child in anyway possible. If they ask you to use certain pronouns for them, use them!! If they ask you to refer to them by a name that was not given to them at birth, use it!! Coming out to your guardians/parents is already a anxiety inducing experience and rejecting them is only adding onto the problem!!

hey so just as a psa - we've said it several times but we prefer that people hardblock to break mutuals. it can make us really confused otherwise and if we do realize you softblocked or unfollowed we'll probably just hardblock bc it makes it easier w our memory issues. saying this rn bc we had a mutual who kept following and unfollowing and like y'all 100% have a right to curate your own dashes and no hard feelings abt that but if we're mutuals and you're randomly following and unfollowing and softblocking etc it just adds unnecessary stress for us
