Humans were so foolish to fall for such marketing schemes and yet here he was in the heart of it all. Zavie didn’t have a clue as to why he attended tonight. He partly came since Josephine was an old friend, but he couldn’t take the loneliness much longer. As he swiftly moved to rush out the entrance a soft touch from a timid hand compelled him to turn around. “I’m about to leave so make it quick.” He sighed not wanting anything more to do with this party for a second.

Just outside the ballroom the young pup nervously shifted a bit more comfortably in his suit as he awaited for his date to arrive. Having been around Asher many times before tonight Oliver still couldn’t grasp what was making his stomach flutter with nerves. Part of him worried he might appeared looking ridiculous for his date since he never really was a fancy wearing suit and tie kinda guy. And there was also the partial fact that this would be considered their first actual date. A real actual date. Like the ones couples go on.

The anxious feeling soon settled in his chest as he caught sight of him looking utterly handsome in his suit coming towards his way. It almost took his breath away making it surreal to think he was all his. “Why hello tall dark and handsome.” He grinned biting his bottom lip. “Your man must be one lucky guy. It’s a shame he couldn’t make it though. Mind if I could ask you to be mine instead?” He chuckled offering out his arm.

Lily looked over the crowd questionably as she listened to the sounds of everyone’s chatter. She didn’t want to admit that she was hoping to look her best in case she had bumped into Levi. She hadn’t talked to them since they were so blatant and insulting to her. She didn’t understand how she always so willingly ran back to them when they took pleasure in infuriating and belittling her. With a huff she turned around to get a drink when she bumped into the familiar face her mind had been festering on all night. “Oh,” she said shortly before looking downward. “Hope you’re having a nice night. Excuse me, I’m thirsty.” She muttered as she started to walk away.

Rowan had her arms crossed as she leaned against the wall, She was supposed to be here with one of her coworkers, but she bailed on her. She felt simply annoyed and defeated for the night, and decided that maybe it was just best if she just left. Pushing herself off of the wall she started to head toward the exit. Feeling a hand on her shoulder she turned to see who it was. When she saw their face she huffed and turned away. She wasn’t talking to Kita at the moment since he had been lying to her. She found it to be frustrating and insulting that he had been lying since they had known each other. “I have to go.” She shook her head dismissively as she turned away.
