Bell's Good & Evil
A bell curve ... one axis labeled "EVIL", the other "GOOD". The heading, "The Human Mind". Metaphysical philosophers suggest that humans carry their angels and demons with them wherever they go - always. For some minds, the only difference between good and evil is "perspective".
The planetary brain suggests that throughout history, influential thinkers have proposed these core differentiators between good and evil:
Intention and Motivations: Ethical good stems from benevolent aims, while evil arises from malice or self-serving harm.
Empathy and Compassion: Cultivating understanding and care for others distinguishes the good, contrasted with callousness or disregard for suffering in others.
Justice and Fairness: Adherence to moral principles, treating individuals equitably, defines ethical conduct opposed to exploitative or inherently unjust actions.
