OH NO WREN TURNED INTO A BEAR
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!
If you had the chance, what would you edit/rewrite from the show? As much as I love it, I feel like it has some wasted potential. What would you like to see more/less of and why?
Hello,
First of all, I am so sorry for taking so long to respond, it was always on my mind just with a bunch of other stuff, school's been killing me.
What I would edit/rewrite:
Give it 5 seasons and make season 4 longer, seriously how is it shorter than both season 1 and 2, this way the two major plots of the season get to be spread out and have ample time to get explored.
The VILE lore is so less, like we only find out about one member, and what do you mean the treasure hunt has three pieces, there should be five for each member (I know they didn't have enough time but it has so much potential) so almost the entirety of season 4 is about this and the season would just end with carmen getting kidnapped, cliffhanger+ Dark!Carmen gets an entire season. The rest goes pretty much the same, chase goes to julia, she rejoins ACME , chief and carmen have their conversation, gray rejoins VILE, oh, and see the other faculties reaction to having crackle back.
Then we have season 5, Dark!Carmen get's the entire season to herself, we get to see more capers, how gray comes to the decision to go to ACME, team red depression, what they were, how the faculty are further convinced to make carmen faculty (I definitely see why, but we should see them) and last but not least, ACME being confused cause there not in the loop, like no artifacts being returned and more pondering from chase and julia. The finale is the same, cause I feel like I'm in the minority when I say I don't have a problem with it, probably cause I assumed that carmen only left zack and ivy temporarily and would get back in touch later, I didn't really take it that she wasn't going to contact them again.
But it won't be the end, cause I believe we need an extended epilogue, where we see how shadowsan and player are doing cause the fact that we didn't see that is criminal( pun not intended), the carmen and gray reunion and I wanna see them hug, would be nice to see how ACME is more competent in dealing with operatives than before, still need plenty of help though, simply having information is not going to make them be able to take those people in, they're still gonna get beat up, what they really need are fighting lessons and practical training.
What I would like to see more/less of and why:
- carmen and gray interactions in the dark!era, they are finally working together but gray is not happy, works for showing the character development that happened off-screen and just what I wanna watch.
- shadowsan on the island and having that vision of young carmen is a really underrated moment to me, and it has great angst potential in the dark!era, more moments of him reminiscing about her.
- show more of the rest of the team in general, especially zack and ivy cause this also goes into what I would rewrite, they don't get much time to shine, ivy get's more than zack, but it's still not enough and more episodes like the need for speed caper that explores their relationship with carmen.
- more episodes with the rest of carmen's classmates together, I think it's cool.
- flashback scenes to VILE academy and the time before in general, that would be cool to see.
- more operatives.
- more ACME stuff, I find them very fun to watch.
OMG HELP YES I SAW THAT BEFORE AHAHASKJDSJNDJKNFKJGF Little My 🥰🥰🥰
May I ask who do you think kisses who first for redcrackle 👀
-grahamcarmen
I think it's gray, cause canonically speaking, he does voice his feelings more than carmen, not to say she doesn't, he just does it more, so I think it'd make sense for him to make the move.
There is work to be done before that, cause of the whole "she doesn't need me complicating her life" stuff, but once they get over that, he's the one who turns to kiss her first.
I do like to think about the opposite too, like when there in their awkward reunion phase and gray's keeping his distance, she is annoyed but tells herself that it's fine until it's not fine and she just tells him straight up that she's not happy with how their relationship is at the moment and they have a heart to heart about it and she seals it with a 😘, but yeah, it's gray, though carmen's really into giving kisses as well.
Favorite moment from each rc episode 👀if you wanna? - grahamcarmen
Oooo, totally.
1) the pilot episodes:- When gray has black sheeps back after the water balloon incident, so they all get a punishment than just her, loyal to a t, to someone he barely just became friends with no less.
2) opera caper:- The fact carmen just goes "I want you to be my guide" while players in her ear going "crackle again, you're playing with a live wire, red" he's just telling her it's dangerous and he's totally justified and right but carmen's like I wanna be close by going sightseeing with you, love her for it .
3) new zealand:- gray just agreed to go do an incredibly vague job for someone who stood him up all for the chance of sharing coffee together, he's such a smitten sap, chief had it so right.
4) what episode was the jail scene in again?:- Carmen literally getting chloroformed but fighting despite it to protect gray, is this what true love looks like?
5) Himalayas:- props for him getting her name right he finally accepted her new identity, seriously though, the fact that he genuinely regrets trying to hurt her.
6) Vienesse:- The fact that we got to see them doing missions together in itself is pretty big but I also like how he knows what to do when she tells him to wait for her signal.
7) Dark red:- The fact that he thinks she doesn't need him complicating her life, it's dumb but I appreciate that from wanting to be on the same side to not wanting to complicate, he just wants her to be safe and happy even if it's without him, it's his first selfless act and I appreciate that, even if it's wrong, it's the thought that counts.
Catdog type tf* with two characters of your choice
*like fused at the waist? How tf do I describe catdog 😭
The funniest combo i could think of was aleister and anastacia bc they fuckin haaate eachother
3 dynamics you wish we could have seen (or seen more of)
3 underrated moments from gray or carmen
The most underrated episode in you opinion
Favorite season
Favorite carmen outfit outside of her iconic red
What would grays Halloween costume have been in your opinion
:D if you wanna / for fun ^^
- grahamcarmen (sorry for all the qs in one lol)
1) i) Not really possible with how the show went but shadowsan and carlotta are so intriguing (really all carlotta interactions are intriguing), I can see them learning to co-parent carmen, after their relationship smooths over, carlotta being mad at the fact she was robbed of carmen's childhood and the fact that Dexter's killer got that honour, shadowsan being ashamed but also scared about what this means for his relationship with carmen, y'know normal family drama.
ii) I actually really wish we got to see the facultys reaction to being betrayed again, especially dr bellum since gray was her favourite student and she must have been happy to have him back and then he betrays them.
iii) I wonder how carlotta would react to gray, would she be reminded of herself when she was younger, would she be protective of carmen with that in mind or just hope that they have a happy ending compared to her.
2) i) I made a post about this earlier but like carmen choosing to make sure gray isn't seen by VILE rather than completing her mission, she really got a choice between them and she chose him, cute🥺.
ii) I feel like the fact that gray redialed his crackle rod to stun mode is really ignored, like he didn't do it to protect against dark!carmen, as I've seen some people think, cause up until the last moment he was under the impression that the crackle rod only worked for him, the fact that carmen could use it was a surprise, so he did it before and I think that needs more attention.
iii) why don't we talk about the fact that carmen had player put alerts on gray, like, does that count as stalking, I just find it hilarious.
3) I adore venice caper with all my heart and soul, it has zari and devineaux team up, their conversations are great, and I just like seeing zari more, chase starts his redemption arc, shadowsan and hideo moments, and I really like his conversation with carmen after seeing his brother, the animation is really pretty and the whole episode is incredibly appealing to me.
4) Hmm, I would have to say it's between season 2 and 4, like I'm pretty sure I like all episodes of those seasons and both of them have major character arcs for shadowsan and gray respectively along with new operatives and more lore, I'll settle on season 2.
5) Definitely lucky cat caper auction dress, like I love that dress, I was so disappointed that we never got to see it again, it's so prettttty. Especially her gold choker, just, perfect.
6) Carms a witch, so it's only fair for gray to be a vampire, magical power couple, if you will, they'll both get to change out of their signature colours for once.
how do you think carmen and gray would handle arguments?
Hellooo,
This is probably the fastest I've answered an ask, not for any particular reason, but back to the topic on hand.
I think they make sure that when they have an argument they talk it out before the day ends, (this way it counts if the days already ended for one but not the other, the perks of long distance) and just not let it fester especially after everything they've been through.
If there's any kind of issue then they just talk it out, I don't really see any miscommunication happening either, they'll ask and clarify rather than making assumptions (like some people).
