I am SO happy you mentioned GoT in that response because even though I really don’t like that show, there were moments (especially in the s3 finale) that I was like... is this like game of thrones??? I was surprised at how much I loved that finale, I am SO excited for the rest of the show!!! I feel like they’ve done so much but they still have so much to do. (Also, that part with Soren at the end??? Holy shit. I couldn’t believe it)
it just does such a good job balancing everything and the finale honestly could have been a decent series finale (thank goodness it wasn’t) because it was so well built up, and then it delivered, like i genuinely got so worked up at parts SPEAKING OF WHICH, let’s talk about that moment with Soren, actually let’s discuss that entire damn family, because there’s so much to unpack there - i’m so happy there’s more coming so we can see how that all plays out
