Barcelona was not somewhere Alice ever saw herself visiting. She had zero interest and hated travelling more than anything. If it wasn’t for Madden and his glorious Xanax, she would have jumped off the plane mid-flight. The moment she was one solid ground she ran out of the plane and practically collapsed. She didn’t care how people saw her, she was just grateful to be on land.
That was a few hours ago, and now she was bored. Boredom was not something that sat well with Alice. She flipped through the guidebook at least a hundred times and couldn’t settle on a single thing. Eventually she gave up and sat in the middle of the hotel lobby, staring at one of the chandeliers. “What is one to do....” she mumbled, not really caring if anyone heard her.
