Was just speaking to some of the HiruSena discord server members, and I had said:

We're not quite "going down with the ship"… it's more like "too many people in a dingy boat, and half of them are dead"

And if that doesn't just define -not only our fandom ship- but so many other fandoms and ships -both old and new- then I don't know what does.

P.S. I might have asked my sis to put that on the list of mini comics to draw, so I'll let y'all know when that happens!

My Upload Schedule for the Month of September

This time it's pretty set in stone.

Got a really nice comment on my newest oneshot this morning that made me really happy.

(Blocked out the name and pic, cuz I don't wanna go calling them out, even thought they're being nice)

This is one of the reasons I keep writing and posting regularly. Because, though comments aren't frequent, I am SO FREAKING HAPPY to know that people enjoy my writing.

I will keep writing -through the comment droughts and writing burnout- because I love that people are enjoying what I do. That maybe I'm making someone's day when I post.

I will keep writing not only because I want to and like to, but because every time I get a comment, no matter how simple, or short, it makes my damn week.

And to anyone who sees this who also make art of any kind, I want to say this: Yes, create for you, or the comments, or whatever you want. But if you're ever feeling down, remember that there's people out there that you are undoubtedly cheering up with your posts. So if you ever question if you should continue because "no one cares" or anything like that, remember them. They're quiet, but they are there.

Thanks to all my readers! You make me so happy.

And thanks to this particular reader today. I haven't gotten a comment in a hot minute, so this will be fueling me for a while LOL I was starting to burn out, but this re-lit the fire under me.

Me to you all when I say I have another WIP Fic 😅

Okay, so one of my Discord server friends mentioned that child Hiruma has a Tamagotchi in one of the official artworks, and I suddenly remembered this one fucking shit post I saw a while back from I-don't-even-fucking-know-where about how everyone the OP knew who had a Tamagotchi was a really caring person, and they wondered if that was a signal of that or smthn, and I just laughed so hard.

Cuz, I mean... they'd be right here!

Hiruma -despite being an absolute devil- is fucking caring! He cares about Kurita, Musashi, the whole damn team. He may not be the typical picture of caring, but he still is. He tries to prove to his teammates that they're better than they think, worth more than they think! He may not do it in the usual way, but he comforts them when they need it.

Hiruma may be a fucking menace, but he's the type of person who'd go to war for his friends! He fucking cares and I love that.

...Yes, this was mostly an excuse for me to rant about this fucking gremlin of a man.

OKAY! So.

I am currently working on a new Playlist video! This one is based on my fic Beyond the Veil and Into the Dark and it's themed around the first 27 chapters.

I will be working on it over the next few days, but my internet is being shitty, plus it's raining (which makes my already shit internet 10x worse) so when it'll be uploaded, I don't quite know.

Anywho, I'll share when it's up!
