“Man, talk about a rough week....”
Summer time had hit and even then Kanji had learned his job never ended, not even for vacation month. The kids were out having fun and he was attending his own classes and workshops to better polish his skills as a teacher than vacationing in Europe with his lover. Oh well...at least Shinjiro had left Koromaru with him. As tied and old as the dog was, the pure hearted knitter still had endless amounts of love for that furball.
The workshop had taken place in a different part of the city than the school he worked at, leaving him walking in unfamiliar territory on his way home. Dim lights barely kept the side walk visible as his boots clicked along the stone walkway, rain pelting lightly atop his umbrella. His stomach growled and his throat was dry, both begging for relief. As he passed another building it’s front light flickered above him, begging his attention. Kanji glanced up, curious and read the neon lighting.
“The...Stray Sheep?”
It had an oddly nice ring to it.
Tho he found the sign to be extreme outdated in it’s design. Whoever owned this establishment lacked taste...or had been on this property for quite some time. With nothing to lose, he folded up his umbrella and entered. It was as dimly light inside as it was outside, tho the atmosphere was warm and inviting, air overpowered with the stench of cigarettes, pizza, and beer...and it was quiet. It was just his kind of place.
Kanji sat down at an empty table beside the jukebox and waited for the waitress to come by and take his order.
“I trust you.”
“You do…? Well…you know it’s awfully dangerous to trust others so easily, Vincent~” She teased, a slow curl of a smile grew upon her lips. “You’re really going to trust little ‘ol me?”
It wasn't everyday that Vincent had to leave his house for work. He was a systems engineer who was hired by Shujin Academy to install a server for the school. "--I hope this is the right place? Uhm, excuse me?" he asked hopelessly to a teacher passing by who was just to busy to help him. "Does anybody know where I can find the computer room?" This was exactly why he hated on site job orders.
She hadn’t been sleeping well lately, and it definitely showed on the big bags under her eyes. On one hand, she might deserve this treatment for everything she’s done so far, but on the other... God, she wanted some vacations. A raise would be a little better, in her opinion, but at the same time...
“Huh?” There was an unfamiliar face talking to her, as she looked around her, seeing if he was talking to someone else... Didn’t seem that way. “Uh, yes... I could take you there...” She tried to recall anything about someone coming to inspect the computer room, but... no, nothing came to mind.
“Um... do you need to see the computer room to know if you’ll be enrolling your kid in Shujin?” He couldn’t be the father of a high schooler now, would he? Either that, or he was a very unlucky guy.
"I felt like I saw you in a dream I had last night. You were wearing some kinda outfit or cosplay?"
“Cosplay? I don’t do that... what an odd dream for you to have...” She rubbed the back of her neck and looked away. Did he mean her Phantom Thief outfit? She tried to act as if she had no idea what he was talking about.
Sees Orlando and Vincent. Wonders what those two idiots are up to.

Is still asleep even though he should be getting up to meet Katherine at the Chrono Rabbit. Oops. He stayed up all night working on a code sheet.
Making up excuses for Vincent was already part of her daily life. While keeping herself away from blowing up his phone, she had become a tad concerned for not hearing a single reply of his well-being – she might seem cold and a tad distant but her concern for him had always been present since the beginning. Opting to discard their arrangement, she opted to head into his apartment and check on him. Who knows, he could’ve had gotten sick. Ah, if he was not so careless…
So there she was, already peering inside and calling for him in a rather soft voice.
“Vincent?”
