Octavia came home from work with a big smile on her face that morning. It was all because she had gotten a promotion!
She may have done well with her job, but her skills at home needed much improvement. Octavia was attempting to prepare lunch, but she kept cutting herself.
She did manage to make a salad without slicing her whole hand off though. Well its a start.She sat down and eyed the bowl of leafy greens and chopping( i mean hacked) veggies.
It cant be too bad, it didnt involve actual cooking.She lifted up her fork and took in a mouthful of crunchy salad.She was quite proud of herself. It was actually edible.
Later that evening Octavia was still feeling excited about her promotion, so she decided to go out and celebrate at the lounge. She arrived feeling confident and looking forward to a night of fun.
Oh what a surprise, on mic tonight doing a comedic performance was Katrina Caliente. Octavia stood near the stage with her back to Katrina chatting with a friendly club goer.
She looked across the room spotting a handsome young blonde man walking toward to bar for a drink. She continued to chat with the friendly man in front of her until she saw the blonde man walking closer. She excused herself to sit on the sofa nearby. The young man sat beside her.
He was watching Katrina’s performance with amusement.Octavia struck up a conversation and introduced herself.His name is Travis and he’s a Tech Guru.
They spent the entire night talking and getting to know each other. After midnight They began flirting. They took it to the dance floor slow dancing for a while. Travis leaned in for a kiss then gave Octavia a rose.
Octavia then asked did what she knew she had to do before it went any farther. She asked him what his intentions were and if he had any objections to a serious relationship.
To her great relief Travis was all for taking the leap and making a commitment. So Octavia took it one step farther and asked Travis to move in. He accepted.
It may seem fast, but in their world you waist no time. You know what you want and go for it before someone else does or before its too late.
Very early hours of the morning Octavia and her boyfriend Travis arrived home together.
