Just Gone || Open RP

Toothless was frantic. Hiccup was just gone. He'd gone upstairs to grab something while Toothless waited outside, anxious to go flying. Time had passed, and the dragon had decided to go investigate.

The house had been empty. Toothless had sniffed around, thinking that maybe Hiccup was playing a game, but had quickly become frantic as he realized there was no trace of Hiccup's scent anywhere. There wasn't even any old ones in the sheets of Hiccup's bed!

It was then that Toothless panicked. He had to find Hiccup, but without his best friend to help him fly, how could Toothless find him? He ran back and forth, making frustrated noises until an idea hit him.

He took off for the house of the second best dragon trainer on the island, and the one person that might have a chance of understanding what was wrong. It didn't take him long to reach Astrid's house, and he slammed his tail against the door. Maybe she could help him fly so that he could find Hiccup. Toothless keened with desperation, willing the human to come out.

Hiccup watched as Astrid and Stormfly trained. He was invisible to her; he knew that. But he was curious to see what new tactics they were using. He knew that with him gone, the Dragon Academy leadership would be given to her; after all, she knew Stormfly pretty well and as long as she had Hiccup's Book of Dragons, she'd be fine. 

"Wish I could still play with Toothless," he said, sighing lightly. He missed his best friend more than anything in the world, and seeing Astrid and Stormfly training together only made him jealous and intensified how lonely he felt.
