When seeing if two people are compatible which sign do you look at? Moon? Rising? Sun? Ect. Or all of them?
I would look at all of the planets’ signs, but it ultimately depends on each individual. For instance, a person with a Cancer moon would be very sensitive to the compatibility between his/her own moon and someone else’s moon (since the Cancer is originally ruled by the moon).
Or maybe someone has an Aries moon, but also has Mars in Pisces. That would ‘soften’ the fiery Aries aspect and make the moon more dreamy and receptive.
To give you a straight answer though, if I had to look at just a few planetsI prefer to look at the combination of sun and moon. Maybe someone has a Sagittarius Sun (fire sign) and his/her partner has Taurus Sun (earth sign). Taurus enjoys comfort, Sagittarius wants adventure. There’s naturally going to be a conflict there.
Oh, but wait! The Taurus has an Aquarius moon (air), which makes the Taurus less grounded, more intellectual and curious. Aquarius and Sagittarius get along very well- both are naturally philosophical and interested in seeing the bigger picture.
Maybe the Sagittarius has a Virgo moon (earth), which makes the Sagittarius sun more analytical: less philosophical, more realistic. Virgo appreciates the earthiness of the Taurus sun.
By looking at just the sun signs- Taurus and Sagittarius- or just comparing the moon signs- Aquarius and Virgo, the relationship seems not to hold a lot of harmony. But because the suns are compatible with the moons, Taurus/Aquarius and Sagittarius/Virgo could have a very promising relationship!
what do you think are the strengths and weaknesses of a pisces sun and gemini moon combination?
A very charming combination. Glib, sweet, and easy to get along with. A Pisces sun presents itself as sweet and dreamy, but the Gemini moon is detached and mentally analytical. Both signs are mutable signs however, so this combination may struggle with finding stability in their lives while not feeling suffocated by routine. This type may idealize one idea or person, but once they have what they desired, they are no longer any interested. They may have many different personas, and people feel like it is hard to get to know these people. This combination excels in acting, writing, media, even business- where they have to win over people. Keeping a journal may help with the constant mental dialogue.
Famous individuals with this combination: Jessica Biel, Fabio Lanzoni, Benicio del Torro, Oliva Wilde
