Finding reliable and discreet people to work for him proved to be a challenge, especially in the age of internet and cancel culture. It was by some odd twist of fate that Levi crossed Rook's path, but it was proving to be rather convenient for them both. For all the years and skills the vampire had accumulated, the more technical skills have never been in his interests... Fixing whe wiring of some of his old apartment was something to outsource, and Rook was perfect for the job.

"How are the repairs coming along, Rook?" Levi asked, walking into the room to keep an eye on his 'technical consultant' as he called him. Not that he liked to micromanage, but he needed to be alert because there were a few things in that apartment that no human should see.

"Thank you for agreeing on doing these repairs so late at night. You shall be compensated appropriately."

Sean's been eyeing the older man for as long as he remembers, growing up with Brooks, Ethan's son, he's come to know him just as well as if he were his own father. with the exception that he really, really, likes the idea of being more than just an acquaintance of the older man. and maybe it's because he's been daydreaming about it for a long while, or because he's grown bold enough to do it, but Sean feels no shame about what he's about to do. it's yet another sleepover, you'd almost think Sean lives here with how much time he spends at their place instead of his own. it's the middle of the night, Brooks has already gone to bed, but the two of them remain in the living room. they've been watching some old movie that Sean has long stopped paying any attention to, he pretends to yawn and his body starts inching closer, head finding its way onto Ethan's shoulder and a hand snakes its way on his leg, up his thigh. he's doing his best to make it seem natural, like he's really just falling asleep and his limbs move of their own accord, but there's something that feels fake about it anyway. even more so when he starts stroking up the man's leg, reaching deeper into his inner thigh.

"I can somehow." He stopped, a pause that he used to taste the word he needed to say. ".imagine it." He smiled at Jett. The actor seemed sure of himself, an attitude that Puck clearly enjoyed. But the more the other displayed it, the more the hunger in his soul ached. The circle he made around the light under which Jett stood grew smaller. A slow approach, but an approach nonetheless. "And yet, imagining is not enough for an audition." He stopped mid-way, hands behind his back, as if he was analyzing a piece of art in the museum. His eyes surely moved that way, catching details, experimenting the parts with his view. Still not enough. Instead of a circle, he took steps forward, but did not enter the halo of light around the other.

"In other places, they called this the casting couch." Puck smiled at Jett. "Powerful men push their advantages and someone bends. All for the part." He stood by the light, just outside of it. "If it is up for me, you will get the part. Even if we don't fuck right here. He waved a hand in the dark space he was in. He waved some stupid thoughts away, as if they were nothing. "Of course, there were those two with me. They have a vote. They'll make me watch others, but they won't be you." He resumed his walk. A tight circle around the light, but never invading it. "I want you because you are that good. But I want to fuck you because you are beautiful. It has nothing to do with the part. So I won't lie. It has nothing to do with being naked in front of people. I want you naked for me. Naked and bent, begging for me."
