this is a near-exact transcript of an actual irl conversation that @astrotimbre and I had tonight. we have a longstanding deal where he’s gonna conquer the world so we can have the movies/TV shows we want. (practical, right?) earlier in the evening, he told me that he needed to go to the store on Halloween and thus couldn’t buy cheap candy the day after. much later, after bitching about one bad television show or another, the following ensued....
a: *sigh* This is why you need to become Queen of All Media, so things like this don’t happen.
me: I would, but I can’t yet! I’m waiting on you here!
a: I don’t have time to conquer the world AND build a TARDIS, you have to pick one!
me: Okay, then I say conquer the world because then you can order someone else to build the TARDIS for you.
a: No one else can build the TARDIS.
me: Oh, fine.
a: Besides, if I build the TARDIS, it’ll be easier to conquer the world.
me: Okay, you’ve convinced me. Now get your ass in gear and make that happen!
a: I’m trying, but they don’t let me into the lab very often - especially after what happened on Tuesday.
me: So that’s why you had to go to the grocery store on Halloween, huh?
