Holy shit this morning was hell on earth
great news! I’m growing as a person
Haahahah I am so burnt out HAHAHAHAHA
I had this totally normal interaction with a customer and her baby today, and I helped them to their car because she bought a lot of groceries (and, duh, had a baby), and we talked about normal nice smalltalk things, and then when she got the car all packed up she just said really loudly "THANK YOU! GOD BLESS YOU EMILY, JESUS LOVES YOU!"
and I was like "ye-OKAY BYE" and when I relayed the story to my co-workers their exact same reaction was "oKAY BYE" oh my god
Like, props to you if you are able to be religious and want to pray for other people and spread the good word and all that but telling a stranger at a grocery store than Jesus loves them and saying "God bless you" is a LITTLE MUCH
And Jesus probably doesn't love me based on the amount of times people have tried to convert me after staring at my hair in horror
