I was low key a firm believer that wooly is evil and Amanda is innocent since ata1 dropped

Amanda the Adventurer HC

Ya know after watching Amanda the Adventurer 1 and 2 I have to admit a personal HC I have that I don't think Wooly is a bad guy or whatever;

I honestly don't think Wooly is evil, or whatever, like many seem to be trying to make him out to be. Using evidence of him trying to keep Amanda hush hush about things and seemingly trying to keep her quiet.

But Wooly doesn't seem like he's trying to be cruel about trying to keep Amanda hush hush; he instead seems like he's trying to protect her, more so BOTH of them from something. He gets very nervous when they go off script almost begging Amanda to go back to what they were doing before hand. In response, Amanda is actively hostile toward Wooly, even though Wooly hasn't done anything that we've seen, but only try and keep her "On script" but he's not actively hostile against her like she is to him.

What I think is Wooly might actually be one of the missing kids, but he's the kid that already knows what's going on, but is too afraid to speak out about it cause he's afraid of the consequences, sorta like that one kid in the friend group who tries to keep the rest out of trouble. He's scared about what's going to happen, to Amanda let alone both of them. Amanda however is slowly realizing something is not right; but instead of being quiet about it like Wooly, is actively lashing out, she's becoming rebellious, furious, going off script, breaking the rules; things NOT suppose to be shown/happen on a happy kid's show.

Back to Amanda being cruel to Wooly, she seems to only do it when Wooly tries to reign her back in, which obviously Amanda doesn't want, she want's to fight back, but since she can't take her frustrations out on anything OTHER then Wooly, she sadly does just that.

It's just a sad-vicious cycle of one being too scared to break the rules on account of what it's gonna do to both of them, let alone one, and one wanting to break the rules cause their suffocating and it's finally starting to get to them, so as a result their both taking it out on each other, with Wooly taking it out on Amanda by forcing her to do thing's she doesn't want, and Amanda taking it out on Wooly cause he's all that's there to do it too.

Across the Atlantic-Chapter 1

“Last call for Air France flight 49 non-stop to Paris”

Shoving my ticket and passport into the woman’s hand, I let out a sigh of relief. I made it.

Walking through the corridor, I fixed my hair as I tried to look more presentable. Well, as presentable as black leggings, a slouchy top, and TOMS could be. Shoving my passport into my purse, I glided through the door. Even though I thought I’d be late, there were still empty seats.

I heaved my duffle over my shoulder in an attempt to place it in the overhead bins. However, being a petite 5’4 un-athletic girl, I failed. Just as the bag was about to fall, I felt a strong hand placed on my back as another stopped it.  “Thanks” I muttered as he put it in the bin. I tried to hide my embarrassment, sitting down staring out the window. To my surprise, the man sat down next to me. I decided if I was going to have to spend a 7 hour flight next to him, I might as well not be a stranger. “ I'm Carly” I said extending my hand as I turned to face him. I quickly examined his tan skin, perfect bone structure, and gorgeous dark hair with a blond streak. He was wearing a simple grey tee-shirt and jeans, but he looked amazing. He was Zayn Malik. “Zayn,” he said with a perfect British accent, “a little clumsy there aren't ya?” he joked as we shook hands. “Yeah, I’m not the most graceful” I admitted.

We spent the rest of the flight chatting and flirting. I didn't want to admit I was a huge 1D fan because I thought I’d scare him away. But, as the flight went on I felt as if we were going to become good friends.

“You know, I actually knew who you were when I saw you. It’s kind of embarrassing, but I’m actually a big fan of yours” I said. He just smiled “Nah, its cool. If you’re such a big fan, then you probably know I have a girlfriend”. I was so mad at myself. How could I be so stupid I totally forgot! Zayn wasn’t even my favorite, yet alone single but I’m flirting with him. “However,” he continued “we’re over. We just haven’t released it yet, but it’s been awhile” I could hear the slight pain in his voice. The breakup clearly hurt him. I smiled to let him know it was going to be okay.

After hours of talking, a flight attendant began passing out immigrant papers as we prepared for landing. Zayn carried my bags for me as we reached customs. We had to separate because he was British and I was American. We quickly exchanged numbers and I promised to call once I got to my hotel.

After passing through customs, I quickly grabbed my checked luggage and went to search for a taxi. Outside, it was pure chaos. My three years of French had not prepared me for this. “Taxi!” I yelled “Taxi! S'il vous plait!” I tripped on a strap on my suitcase and fell straight onto the cobblestone. “Merde” I mumbled to myself. “Sortez de la manière, salope!” I man yelled at me as I struggled to regain my footing.  I knew he called me a bitch, but I didn’t have the energy to react. Wiping my hand across my chin, I tell it was bleeding. I swallowed the giant lump in my throat as I fought back tears.
