Totally feeling you on the used to be a ballerina thing. How did you get injured? That's so upsetting.

Yeah it totally sucked when I decided I had to leave ballet… but it’s something you learn to let go (and I wasn’t pro dancer, thank god, or it would have been so much worse). It was not a “suprise injury”, I literally overused the articulation of my big toe with 13 years of ballet and it started degenerating at some point, and it started hurting a lot and pointework was almost impossible, way too much pain, the bad type of pain. I already had lots of difficulties in ballet because my body is totally unfit for it (terrible turnout, flat arches, reeeeaally stiff ankles because I have an os trigonum); I had been dancing for 13 years because I really liked it, but I never achieved an advanced level because of my body limitations. So that injury plus another pain in my ankle that appeared a little later (posterior impingement syndrom, I was in risk of fracturing my os trigonum), I took a hint and decided it was time to stop it, it was ruining my health and all that pain consumed a lot of emotional energy.

The real problem is that ballet is like crack right, hahahaha, it literally gets you addicted, so the first months without it were really depressing. But you eventually realize there are other things in life and learn to appreciate ballet from distance :)) and honestly, nowadays I see the videos and pics and thank god that’s not me in agonizing in those pointe shoes. Can’t really say I miss the pain…

Not once did my family ever go back to the hotel to rest! We go all out!:) 7. One thing on your Disney bucket list? Ride Rock N' Roller Coaster and make it my first ever real looped coaster! 8. If you could be any face character, who would you be? Aladdin all the way! No doubt! 9. Why? He just looks like so much fun to be friends with! He has a great personality and has a lot of fun. I feel very similar to him kind of. I can identify myself with him, you know; rough on the edges but still a diamond in the rough. 10. Dream job? *Disney related or not* Aside from being Aladdin, my biggest dream is to be a competitive figure skater! Making it to a national and Olympic level in the sport would be the dream for me.
