14. Has a fanbase ever made you ship or not ship something? Why?

Hmm I don’t think so? I mean, before getting back into Drarry last year, my interactions with fandoms (even the MCU) were very limited and never bled into my readings. I stopped shipping Steve/Tony back when Civil War came out but it had more to do with the movie itself than with the fanbase. Though I’ll say the Armie Hammer/Timmy Chalamet fandom ended up being too dramatic for me and I stopped exploring this RPF early on 😂

28. What is your best shipping advice?

SHIP AND LET SHIP - I really can’t stress this enough. Indulge yourself, curate your own experience, tag accordingly and respect your fellow readers. Don’t give other people shit because they might enjoy something different than you. These characters and their feelings are fictional; people’s are not. Don’t be a dick. (It sounds so obvious in my mind I even feel stupid typing all this, but I know anon hate is still very real so this needs to be said!)

15: What book changed your life?

I don’t want this to be super predictable and boring, but the entire Harry Potter series. My dad read them to me when I was a child. I’ve not been all that close to my dad for some years now, and they remind me of him. They also have such a huge reach and obviously lead me to join the hprp community, where I’ve built my confidence up and met loads of awesome people.

44: Do you like to listen to music when you read?

I do usually yeah, it depends on how much noise there is in the environment. I particularly enjoy listening to the soundtracks of movies where the book I’m reading was made into a film.

50: Why do you love to read?

My dad always read to me when I was younger. It’s sort of a connection to him. I also love escaping into a different world; I get super immersed so it’s easy to do. And sometimes I just find real life so boring or stressful that it’s good to get away for a while.
