Tips, tips, what tips hmm-
-I use six strand embroidery thread bec it splits as three 2s or two 3s and that gives me enough thickness variation ( I usually use 2 strands, it's easiest for me)
- you don't really need fancy stationery, I don't use those hoops to hold the cloth or any fancy thread wax, and it seems fine?? Sometimes I'll pull a little hard and the cloth scrunches up, but I just undo one stitch and it loosens up enough!
- I just draw what I want on some rough paper and then trace it onto the cloth. If the cloth isn't thin enough for easy tracing, I turn my screen brightness to full on a white screen, and put it under the paper!
- I'd say look up a few vids for like professional tips!
- I just zoomed through this vid at 2x speed (then promptly forgot all these techniques except backstitch and like running stitch and started my bullshit anyway 🤭)
