First Post

My goal for this blog is to get the word out about the animals at Fulton County Animal Services (animal control) in Atlanta, GA. I intend to share pictures and information about the animals at the shelter and hopefully reach someone who's a match for them before their time is up. I'll also share information about animals already in rescue groups who need homes as well.

I don't work for these organizations, I'm simply a resident of Atlanta, GA who wants to help find good homes for animals who need them. I'll do my best to provide appropriate contact information for the shelter and/or rescue groups.

Note: Generally, these organizations only adopt in-person, or to rescue groups who are willing to transport the animal to your location. It may seem like a tough policy, but the safety and protection of the animals is their priority. They want to make sure you are a good fit for the animal and that the animal is a good fit for you and your family.
