Though he often hastened to suggest otherwise, Thor was well aware that his reputation throughout the cosmos was far from stellar. It was not unknown on occasion for him to find himself having made himself unpopular with those he had not yet even met - this young man, it seemed, was no different.

Whoever they happened to be, it was clear that their mood was far from genial. Hardly had the Asgardian opened his mouth to offer some cordial greeting he found himself faced with a surprising amount of aggression from one so lanky.

For the time being, Thor allowed himself to be pushed against the wall, curiosity as to this stranger’s reasoning overpowering any sense of irritation. He fixed the man in question with an even stare, let a beat of silence pass between them, and then grinned.

“I hope you have good reason to try picking a fight with a god.”
