It's been months since Matt and Josh first met since they got off the mountain - And even though it was probably awkward at first, now everything was going just more than fine. The younger male took the task of teaching Josh speak again, along with human interactions. Probably he was the best for the job. Matt and his almost perfect - kind personality.
Things couldn't have turned out better than they did. They were through only a couple of months and finally Melinda could be relieved - Seeing her son happy, hearing him speak and watch him go out again. All of this thanked to Matt. And since first he was the only one that Josh had trust in - besides his sisters - the young boy could also got the chance to live with the Washingtons and be treated like a prince by the thankful Washington mother.
It was like every other morning. Josh woke up first and after a yawn he opened his eyes to see Matt still asleep next to him. There were those days they slept in separated beds - since they had beds both, but then there were the days when Matt just fell asleep next to Josh until he was waiting for the exorcised wendigo to sleep - Or Josh wanted him to stay for the night. That's how it was now. After a groan and running his fingers through his hair to get it out of his face he shifted closer on bed and nuzzled his face against Matt's neck.
"Good morning." He mumbled against his skin, his voice still raspy from just waking up.
