Atomaru's Dorandoran doll is finally here.
I've been in love with this Korean artist creations for years. I missed out on her international sales back in the day. They are a little too $ to justify purchasing from another seller when the money is not going to the artist anymore. I saw this used Dorandoran at Mandrake a while back but she was still $, more so when she comes without shoes/accessories.
She became available at Yahoo Japan several times with a start up price and a buy it now, Mandrake had her at this price which I'm guessing the seller wanted their investment back. It never reached the reserve price and the transaction was cancelled several times. But this time I actually won and seller had no reserve!
She is so tiny!! I knew she was going to be but it is not the same having her in my hands to just seeing her in pictures.
She has the cutest button nose and soft smile.
Her wrist bones, knees, ankles, knuckles😍 I die!!!
She's so tiny!!!!! I won't be swapping clothes from Licca or Petite Barbie.
This is good to know. I was getting ready to make her a little wardrobe before she arrived. I'm glad I was too busy with work to have the energy for it 😆 and now that she's here I feel more creative.
The closest to torso size would be Petworks Nikki. Dorandoran still a little slimmer but I want her on relaxed fashion.
Oh! I'm so happy 😊 only a little snug at the chest on Nikki. I have some patterns for this Petworks doll line and it will be easier to adjust accordingly instead of drafting from Dorandoran's dress. I'll think about which shoes she can wear later 😆
